I normally don’t like to post things so inflammatory. This is different though. Fred Phelps is a jerk and his followers are hateful people. I’d I’ve lost all respect for them. WHAT? Yeah - I actually respected them slightly because rather than cherry picking the pieces of the bible that they felt like listening to, they believed every bit of hateful nonsense in it. Or so I thought…

It turns out Freddo is the same as all other people blindly following their religious teachings, picking and choosing what they determine to be right and wrong - ignoring what god says in the book. Except he’s worse. And his followers, because instead of following it themselves, and holding bitter hatred to non-followers close to themselves, they’re pointing out the wrongs everyone else is making in god’s eyes, but not themselves. It turns out, that god hates Fred Phelps just as much as the gays, the people fighting for America, and generally anyone else they decide they don’t like. It turns out that Fred Phelps shaves, which is bad in god’s eyes according to Leviticus, one of Fred’s favorite books.

God says, “Do not cut the hair at the sides of your head or clip off the edges of your beard.”

So, right is right. If you’re letting the world know exactly who god hates, put yourself on the top of that list.
