Again, something I’d expect to read in The Onion, a highlight from my local paper:
A booth-clearing brawl involving 13 patrons arguing over the World Series erupted early Friday morning at the Waffle House restaurant in Hanover Township, Lehigh County. The brawl, at the restaurant at 1783 Airport Road, began hours after the Phillies lost to the Yankees 3-1 in Game 2 of the series. Bethlehem state police said four men and three women who were involved in the fight, which broke out around 3 a.m. Friday, fled the scene before police arrived. The investigation is ongoing. It was not clear if the seven people who fled were Phillies or Yankees fans.
