Delaware: Home of Wine!

The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania tells me that I can bring my own wine (for personal consumption) across the border with no problem. So last Friday, I did just that! I went to the great state of Delaware to take advantage of different selections (and a few better prices) and returned with two and a half cases of treasure, plus a few gifts to pass along to others this Giftmas.

Just over two hours was spent in the warehouse of booze and I could have spent all day. So many wines, so little time… A Penfolds Bin 389 and Chateau Montelena Cabernet Sauvignon were among the ‘better’ bottles I came home with, but I also brought home some “every day” wine at bargain prices.

Now I’ve just gotta get it entered into inventory and find some place to put it all. The Wine (Coffee) Table won’t be appropriate for some of these bottles (nor large enough) so I’ve ordered a new storage device for the wine closet:
