It’s Time to Get Money Out of Politics.

Our founders said there should be one vote per person. Over the years, rights have been granted to corporations and extended those votes to dollars. Sure, not directly, but most will acknowledge that if you have more money, you have a louder voice and therefore can reach more people. That’s more voters.

Most will know I was an Obama supporter in 2008, and he secured more money than McCain. I don’t think that should have entitled him to a louder voice. The message should be the contributing factor to who the population votes for; not how much money is raised. I’ve unsubscribed from any political email which wants to get money out of me. The message should win; not the money.
